p1¶1 On 22-01-2025 based on credible information, the team raided a field near Penamaluru village where an illicit distillation unit was in operation. [OCR from Telugu original]
p1¶2 200 litres of fermented jaggery wash was destroyed on the spot. 35 litres of ID liquor in plastic cans was seized. Accused R. Ramesh Goud fled the scene; Raju Goud S/o Venkatesh Goud was apprehended.
p2¶1 On 30-01-2025 statement of Raju Goud recorded. He stated his brother Ramesh runs the unit and transports liquor using a goods vehicle. Vehicle number not stated.
